I have this website now, so I thought I should write something here.
Today, on 24th January 2021, it snowed in Reading, UK. Today is also my mum’s birthday, so if you combine that knowledge with her maiden name, you could probably log into 80% of my online accounts. But good luck getting that.
The last time I experienced snow was March 2018. At that time I was in Southampton for university. So that makes it almost three years! (Or two if you ignore 2020 because that was a skip-year for the world).
I’m not sure why I stayed up late last night waiting for the snow honestly. Not only was the next day Sunday, meaning I wouldn’t get that all-important “snow day”, but also; I work from home, so it would wouldn’t affect me, as well as the fact that I completed school 8 years ago. But I guess I thought I would get some second-hand happiness from the children who got that day off…oh wait, we’re in the midst of a pandemic…school is closed anyway. Never mind then.
Fortunately what I did get to do was to go on a 30-minute walk, which only took me 50 minutes.
This part of the blog post will now just be some photos I took because I’m bored of writing.
Yeah that was it honestly. Not sure why I posted it, but thanks to my housemate, Vijay, for suggesting that I write about snow…
